About Us

SOLE – The International Society of Logistics is a non-profit, professional society devoted to scientific, educational and literary endeavors to enhance the art and science of logistics technology, education and management. The Garden State Chapter provides the activity for TEAM C4ISR professionals to collaborate about logistical activities, processes and programs across organizational and program lines. Membership is open to all individuals and companies working, studying or interested in the career fields of logistics technology, management, engineering, education, product support and physical distribution. Now, seemingly more than ever, there is a continuum of rapid change and significant improvements in the defense logistics arena. Partnering between military and the industry that supports it, is not only accruing added importance, but is becoming a more common foundation for success. Some avert that nowhere is this more apparent than in the defense logistics arena. To this end, the Garden State Chapter maintains active ties with the Industrial Representatives Association and the Fort Monmouth Combined Professional Association.

Our Vision

The Garden State Chapter is organized to assist New Jersey professionals to improve the delivery of materiel readiness to our Soldiers. The Chapter’s activities will, in a broad sense, assist its members to individually better execute their job functions and improve their disciplinary skills by providing an information vehicle equipping members with timely information about the sustainment of the combat readiness of our Deployed Force and to maintain the operational readiness of the Current Force. The Chapter will accomplish these tasks by the provision of frequent, relevant luncheon gatherings featuring noteworthy topics for presentation to the membership and the conduct of workshops and symposia that focus on fundamental change within the Army to improve current capabilities while transforming Army logistics for the future. The Chapter will provide a conduit for members to achieve certification recognition in the field of logistics.
